What is medical evacuation?
Medical evacuation consists of bringing French nationals abroad in need of emergency medical or surgical care back to France. Any medical assistance or logistics required by the patient’s medical condition are provided using one or more suitable means of transport (air ambulance, stretcher or extra seats on commercial airlines, etc.).
Medic Assistance has several means of transport by air and by land to provide assistance to any person in any corner of the world.
In order to adapt and customise our services as much as possible, Medic Assistance can take charge of missions from beginning to end, from initial analysis of the assignment to administrative paperwork (customs, visas, etc.), with a single point of contact for each assignment.
We have also set up partnerships with the largest assistance companies for collaboration on land, in ambulances, and with their medical teams and their patients.
Thanks to our medical and paramedical staff and our cutting-edge equipment, we have the capacity to take charge of patients on the runway and to complete the mission in order to minimise the time in standby mode at the airport.
