Medical repatriation

Medical repatriation makes it possible to repatriate a patient who is far from home. It refers to the transfer of a person suffering from a health problem from their place of residence to their country of origin. Note that the place of departure and destination may be in the same country.

Several methods of repatriation can be put in place:

– By land:

On board a paramedical or medical ambulance, in France and in Europe. We also ensure optimal comfort during the journey with appropriate equipment (eg special anti-decubitus mattress).

– By air:

On board an ambulance plane (private jet) or via a commercial line in a stretcher or seat for longer distances.

We have the know-how, the technical and human resources to organize and carry out these repatriations on French territory and internationally.

Medic-Assistance also collaborates with health insurance and medical assistance companies.

Also, we are able to take over from a medical team arriving on French territory in order to ensure continuity of care for the patient up to the hospital intended to receive him.

From nursing support on a commercial flight, to taking care of a person in vital distress on a medical flight, Medic-assistance will offer you a solution adapted to the patient’s state of health as soon as possible.
